Can't say enough positive things about this location. First off, the staff are amazing! They are always so kind and friendly right when you enter. They always offer such an uplifting atmosphere. I had a very small issue with my order ONCE, and they went above and beyond to make it right. Secondly, the food is AMAZING! Fresh and absolutely wonderful quality. Then, all of the positivity this location brings to our community, makes me love them even more! Thank you so much Pitaway!
My husband and I weren't planning on having pita way today but we were next door and could smell the food outside so we decided to check it out, first time ever eating here and we told the employee that, he helped us figure out what we wanted and made us feel comfortable out of our comfort zone! We ended up ordered the big platter of everything and fed ourselves and our kids for then it would have been at a fast food restaurant! Plus the food was absolutely delicious and fresh! We will definitely be back!!!!
Pita Way in Lapeer is truly an amazing business that goes above and beyond for our community! The owner, Raad Kashat, is phenomenal—always finding ways to give back and support local schools and organizations. Most recently, they generously donated lunch for all of the 2nd graders at Chatfield School, and their kindness did not go unnoticed! On top of that, their food is always fresh, delicious, and made with care. If you’re looking for a fantastic meal and a business that genuinely cares about the community, Pita Way is the place to go. Highly recommend!
Kristal (sorry if that isn’t how it’s spelled) is SO great!!! I have a severe gluten allergy and she is always so kind and cautious. I frequently pick to eat here because of her. She is always so pleasant and kind to staff when they ask her questions. The guy who was working tonight with her (12/28/24) even ran outside to give us some food we forgot to grab. Above and beyond! Food is always fresh, safe, and yummy!!!
I went in a week after they opened. They asked if I'd ever been there and I said no. They gave me samples of the meats, workers were upbeat and charming. Store was clean, crisp and refreshing. 5 tables to sit at if you want to eat in, I had the bowl with chicken thigh, hummus, rice, beets and garlic sauce, it was incredibly tasty! Will go back soon!
I work nearby and my coworkers and I stop by somewhat often. Every time we've eaten here, whether that's delivery, takeout, or dine-in, the food is absolutely delicious and the staff are so friendly. I've personally gotten to know a few of them, and I smile every time I walk in with them standing there. Super awesome people with super awesome food!
I get Pita Way at least once a week, and this location absolutely kills it every time! The food is always fresh and delicious, and the staff is consistently friendly and welcoming. Their customer service is always excellent—it’s clear they really care about their customers. Highly recommend!

The humus and falafel is definitely delicious and full of flavors, we love dipping the falafel in their yummy white sauce. The humus is definitely fresh and taste just like my grandmother made it with great consistency and perfect flavor. I've only ever liked the Baklava that my grandmother makes until I've tried theirs which is fresh and tasted just like my grandmothers! I was blown away at how good this food is! We will most definitely be returning to this location again in the future. Oh and the workers wmare always super friendly and nice to talk with, management you better hang on to and treat these employees well because it's rare to find such great help! Highly Recommend!
